On October 12, 2019, Twin Elm Rugby Park was proud to be selected as a Top 4 Finalist in the 2019 Kraft Heinz Project Play Contest. Due to the amazing support from our rugby community, we beat out many sports facilities from across Canada to make the Top 4.

The contest came to a close on October 21, and unfortunately, Twin Elm was not selected as the Grand Prize Winner of $250,000. As a runner-up, we will still receive a much-needed prize of $25,000 towards facility renovations and upgrades.

The Twin Elm Board and Project Play Nomination Committee are thankful for the overwhelming support and engagement we received from the rugby community across Canada. Thanks to this widespread support, an anonymous sports fan has now committed to matching donations from the rugby community up to a maximum of another $25,000!

This means we could raise up to $75,000 to achieve our goals.

In order to facilitate this, we have set up a charitable donation account that will issue tax receipts in exchange for donations.

This means you get to double dip on your contributions to Twin Elm Rugby Park: Not only are your donations eligible for tax refunds, but they are also being matched by our anonymous benefactor!

There’s never been a better time to stretch your donations to help #SaveTwinElm! So donate today!

The charitable account* can be accessed at the following link: http://www.sport4ontario.ca/project-115-ottawa-indians-ospreys-rfc.html

*Please note: the donation site is listed through the Ottawa Ospreys (under Project 115), who are one of the four owner clubs of Twin Elm Rugby Park.
